Globee Inc., the company behind the English learning app, abceed, is looking for freelance English conversation coaches to join our live discussion-based program, TED TALKS 英会話.
Through abceed and our English coaching services, we support learners across Japan as they build the confidence and practical communication skills they need to use English in real, situations.
About TED TALKS 英会話
TED TALKS 英会話 is a small-group English conversation program for abceed Pro members.
In each session, participants watch and discuss TED Talks, share their opinions in English, and practice communicating their ideas with other learners. The goal is not just to study English, but to help learners think, speak, and connect through the language.
As a coach, you will guide the discussion, encourage participation, and create a relaxed, supportive environment where learners feel comfortable speaking.

What You’ll Do
・Lead online, small-group English conversation sessions
・Guide discussions based on TED Talks content
・Help participants express their thoughts more clearly and confidently in English
・Provide supportive feedback during the session
・Complete simple preparation and follow-up tasks before and after each lesson
Sessions are held in small groups, usually with one coach and 3–4 participants.

求める人材:
Requirements:
・Native-level English ability
・Business-level, customer-oriented Japanese communication skills
・Experience teaching English, coaching English conversation, or leading group lessons
・Experience facilitating small-group discussions online via Zoom
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
・5+ years experience teaching Japanese adult learners
・Experience leading discussion-based lessons
・Interest in TED Talks, global news, business, current events, or social issues
・A good understanding of the challenges Japanese English learners often face

勤務時間・曜日:
・Schedule: Every Tuesday, 8:00 PM–10:30 PM JST
・Location: Fully remote / online via Zoom
・Contract Type: Freelance / Independent contractor who can start as soon as possible
Onboarding/training will be conducted on a separate date before the start of the lessons.
The number of sessions held per week may increase depending on the number of participants’ signing up and the possibility of expanding the program as a whole.
