The opportunity

Our Service offerings empower customers & partners to holistically manage the asset lifecycle—from start-of-life (e.g., Install & Commission), through services designed to strengthen operational-life (e.g., Upgrade, Repair & Extend), to end-of-life activities (e.g., Replace & Decommission).
How you’ll make an impact
You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for defined material groups within the service business unit to achieve availability on time, cost savings, quality, and service level objectives.
You will lead the procurement process for defined material groups, including identifying and selecting and developing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance.
You will manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with contractual terms.
You will conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and project management to ensure procurement activities align with business requirements.
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
You will ensure compliance with Hitachi Power Grids policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor's degree or above or equivalent in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
Years of experience required more than 3 years of working experience.
Proficiency in languages like English & Japanese, other of advantage.
