Fixed Income (FICC) Rates sales, Japan desk based in New York
Overview: An international investment bank is seeking an experienced sales person who has covered Japanese financial institutions with working rights in the USA to be based in New York, supporting their Japanese business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at Japanese financial institutions, including banks, asset managers, and hedge funds.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sell interest rate products, including swaps, options, and other derivatives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, structuring, and compliance, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to clients on interest rate movements and product offerings.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators set by management.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and promote our products.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development within the financial services industry, with a focus on interest rate products.
- understanding of fixed income and interest rate derivatives.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Japanese and English.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Salary: Above market.
