Join "WOW," an innovative cultural storyteller platform by Yummy Guide, Inc. We are looking for passionate "Wowies" (Cultural Curators) who bridge the gap between Japan’s hidden creative values and premium world travelers.
【Job Responsibilities】
- Guide small groups of international visitors through a hands-on sushi making experience in fluent English.
- Teach the basics of sushi rice preparation, fish selection, and rolling techniques in an engaging and approachable way.
- Share the history and philosophy behind Japanese sushi culture and culinary traditions.
- Ensure a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for all participants.
【Requirements】
Required:
- Strong English communication skills (ability to explain techniques, share cultural context, and connect with guests)
- Genuine interest in Japanese food culture and culinary arts
- Friendly, patient, and hospitality-oriented personality
Preferred:
- Experience in sushi making, Japanese cooking, or culinary instruction
- Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or tour guiding
- Bilingual individuals, returnees, university students, working professionals, and freelancers are all welcome
- No prior teaching experience required — comprehensive training provided
