We are seeking friendly, charming, efficient and smiley English and bilingual speaking staff (preferred, but not essential) to work within our Guest Services Team in Niseko. You must have exceptional customer service skills with passion for dealing with people.
POSITION
Resort Representative/Driver
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting/greeting guests in resort
- Safe driving of guests to and from village/resort accommodations on arrival/departure & for intra-village ski shuttles (5 to 20min driving distance)
- Performing guest check-ins & check-outs based on information provided.
- Providing guests with key local information & assistance
Be able to work Christmas and New year period

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promoting tours/activities such as snowmobiling & cultural tours
- Assisting guests with rental equipment set up
Occasionally acting as a host for our guests on cultural tours

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
One of below experience helps our team
- Personal customer service experience (face-to-face)
- Travel/tourism experience
- Outdoor education or activity guiding
- Resort/seasonal work experience
Ski or Snowboard experience

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Responsible, energetic, confident, can-do attitude
- Friendly personality, can be a team member with manager
Flexible with irregular work hours

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Needs to be English speaker, Business level or higher
Other language skill are not essential, but welcome

DRIVING LICENSE
Must have one of below license
- Driving license issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan.
- International Driving Permit (IDP)
Please note that it needs to be under The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, not Paris or Vienna Convention. List of countries stated above link.
VISA:
- Working Holiday Visa required for this position.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
- Hourly rates will be discussed at interview
- Staff accommodation available
- Grand Hirafu/Hanazono Lift pass using SJ corporate discount (refundable upon completion of contract and with a clean disciplinary record)
- End of Season Bonus
EMPLOYMENT DATES:
- 25th November 2026 – 31st March 2027 (Full Season)
- 25th November 2026 – 28th February 2027 (Short-Term)
As with any seasonal work, hours and dates of work are snow and customer dependent. Please understand that you are required to be flexible with work dates and hours.
Start date and end date can be discussed at interview. We can be flexible.
WORKING HOURS:
Full time, 5 x days per week
You will be contracted to work an average of 40 hours per week throughout the winter, though this will be higher in peak season (late-Dec to mid-Feb) and lower during quiet times.
