Supply Chain Specialist
Our Team
Supply chain department mission is smooth delivery to customer without delay to work with supply chain hub, sales, manufacturing plant. You can expand your horizon to see end to end business, logistic and information.
What You Will Do
- Support top priority customer's End to End supply chain to prevent delivery issue in advance with strong leadership to drive different teams and functions.
- Align with S&OP and S&OE team to identify roadblocks that cause gap between demand and supply. Make action plan and corroborate with related department to execute the plan. Input to management side for major business decision if necessary.
- Support long-term supply planning by understanding the customer trends,
- Contribute smooth start up NPI (New Product Introduction) and New Program as a representative Supply planning/Operation/Supply chain.
- Understand demand changes to lead optimizing supply plan,
- Understand the complex end to end supply chain and analyze factors that impact demand and supply,
- Corroborate with SSP to make supply plan and share it with stakeholders,
- If there is a gap between demand and supply, make action plan with related department and share it with stakeholders.
- Hold demand and supply balance meeting.
- Monitor capacity expansion schedule to meet supply plan.
- Set up safety stock or pre-building plan with Global inventory planner and SSP to fulfill future demand upside.
- Monitor demand change, if demand increase, revise supply plan. If it decreases, you will need to challenge Sales and Demand forecasting to get new opportunity to consume excess inventory
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher requires mathematical skills.
- Effective communication skill to understand different function's needs.
- Problem solving ability.
- Data and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple issues at the same time with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to drive the team to aligned objectives.
- Basic MS Excel skills such as basic functions and analysis.
- English (fluent, no barrier to communicate with overseas members) / Japanese (Fluent, ability to learn technical terms and definitions).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in a high seasonal and non-seasonal business with both internal manufacturing and outside Purchased Finished Goods elements.
- Certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, and CSCP.
- Experienced in Supply planning, Production planner, Procurement, sales, product marketing, project management.
- Knowledge of SAP.
