The Role & Your Impact
As a Scientist in Production Strain Technology, you will drive the development of microbial strains and support scaling toward production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of production strains for projects covering various industries.
- Strain engineering or breeding, screening of microbe libraries
- In charge of Strain Technology development
- Collaborating with fermentation engineers and project stakeholders
- Contributing to technology development within strain engineering
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- PhD or Master’s in microbiology, molecular biology, or biotechnology
- Experience in microbial strain development and screening
- Strong analytical and experimental design skills
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English
