Summary:
This position is the primary role for the sustainment of C5ISR equipment on Army Vessels.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:

Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems.

Oversee the prototyping and testing of electronic circuits and systems, utilizing advanced testing methodologies and equipment to validate designs and identify areas for optimization.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Identify potential risks and challenges early in the development process, implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success and on-time delivery.

Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and firmware engineers, as well as other stakeholders, to integrate electronic systems seamlessly into overall product architecture and functionality.

Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and compliance reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in electronic engineering technologies and methodologies, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Must be detailed oriented and have good oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
This senior position requires an engineering or technical degree with 4 years’ experience working with at least 3 of the following: Navigational Radars, satellite comminution systems, integrated bridge systems, C5ISR equipment, and GMDSS.
- 10 years of experience in electronics can be substituted for the degree requirement.
- This position must have overall system level expertise pertaining to the C5ISR assets installed on Army Vessels/Platforms.
- Must possess and maintain secret security clearance and passport.
- Must service Army Watercraft vessels in locations worldwide.
Must have an active Secret Clearance.
