Product Design Engineer

What You Will Do
- Design and develop connectors for automotive customers.
- Technical support for Molex standard products connectors and support for sales expansion.
- Product development work with global product design team based on development procedure.
- Design validation by tolerance study, D-FMEA, DRBFM and feasibility review with manufacturing team.
- Work with sales team to get voice of customer and reflect it to development.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Design experience for design products related to automotive parts (Structure, Mechanical Engineering).
- Design skill : 2D, 3D CAD. Microsoft office software.
- Engineering skill : FMEA,DRBFM , Knowledge for geometric tolerance.
- Presentation skills to explain logically and simply for key points.
- Education: Associate degree, Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering).
- Self-starter. Lead projects proactively and challenge to illuminate barriers.
- Teamwork. Create good relationships with teams with humility and respect.
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Daily conversation, Beginner business level. English skill is Must have but , self-motivated learners are welcome.
What Will Put You Ahead

Product design experience for automotive connector (Structure, Mechanical Engineering).

Knowledge about materials for connector (plastics/metal/plating).
- Knowledge about molding and stamping.
- Business experience with automotive customers (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers).
