We are looking for a Software Engineer for a Backend role.
Our client is a mid sized Japanese tech company focused in automotive tech. The company has recently become listed in the Tokyo stock exchange, and are growing fast! Work in a progressive and flexible company within growth industry with full remote option!
Main tasks include:
- Developing and operating API servers using Golang or Ruby/Ruby on Rails
- Maintaining infrastructure
- Manage documentation for APIs in Japanese
- Position is full remote, although employees can work in the office in central Tokyo also when they want

- 3+ years of experience developing and operating RESTful APIs and managing the documentation for those APIs
- Experience coding with Golang or Ruby/Ruby on Rails (experience with other backend languages also welcome)
- Experience maintaining infrastructure (LB/database storage, etc.)
- Fluent Japanese (both verbal and written), Basic English
