Associate Professor, Senior Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor - 1 position.
* If you are hired as an assistant professor, the term is five years. Based on the performance evaluation during
the term, reappointment or promotion to senior assistant professor or associate professor may be possible.

4. Teaching responsibilities
[Graduate Programs]
Master’s Program: One or more courses related to the applicant’s specialized fields (Associate Professor,
Senior Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor)
Doctor’s Program: One or more courses related to the applicant’s specialized fields (Associate Professor)
[Undergraduate Program]
You will be in charge of lectures, experiments, practical training and common education subjects related to
the applicant’s specialized fields from subjects offered in the Department of Architecture and Civil
Engineering.

6. Qualifications
Applicants must satisfy all of the following requirements:
(1) Holding a doctorate or an equivalent degree.
(2) Having educational and research achievements in the above specialized fields and subjects.
(3) Capable of doing research activities independently. Passionate about guiding students.
(4) Aware of current situations of local national university, and cooperative in university administration and
social contribution.
(5) It is desirable to have the willingness and ability to conduct applied research on architectural structural
engineering, and be enthusiastic about teaching and research guidance related to architectural structural
engineering.
(6) If not a native speaker of Japanese, must have Japanese language ability to be engaged in office work.
