This position is located within the Athletics Branch of the Semper Fit Division. Candidates selected for this position will serve as an Administrative Assistant.

Major Duties
Provides administrative and clerical support to the Athletics Director and the Athletics program. Utilizes a personal computer and related software to produce civilian and military correspondence, spreadsheets, charts, reports, and presentations in support of Athletics operations, scheduling, budgeting, and program execution.
Performs data entry and prepares correspondence, reports, recaps, and tracking documents directly related to Athletics programs, facility usage, staffing, and event operations.
Screens and prioritizes incoming telephone calls, emails, and inquiries, determining which can be required referral to the Athletics Director or other staff. Arranges and schedules meetings, reserves meeting space, confirms attendees, prepares materials, and drafts summary notes or reports as needed.
Establishes, organizes, and maintains electronic and hard copy records and subject-matter files for Athletics operations, compliance requirements, facility documentation, and program administration. Prepares a wide range of correspondence, including statistical reports, budget spreadsheets, financial summaries, and official directives from handwritten notes, drafts, or verbal instruction.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum one year of experience demonstrated with personal computers and Microsoft Office or similar integrated software systems.
2. Working knowledge of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics tools.
3. Experience performing clerical and administrative functions such as typing, filing, recordkeeping, scheduling, and document preparation.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
