Title: Local Guide – Portuguese Speaker (H/F) – Tokyo
Position Overview
We are currently looking for Portuguese-speaking individuals based in Tokyo to support local activities involving small groups of visitors.
This role focuses on communication, local orientation, and ensuring that each activity runs smoothly in a structured and professional environment.
Main Duties
- Accompany visitors during scheduled activities across different areas of Tokyo
- Provide general insights about the city's environment, culture, and daily life
- Support coordination and timing of each activity
- Adapt communication according to participant expectations
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the experience
Requirements
- Based in Tokyo
- Good knowledge of the city and its main districts
- Fluent Portuguese is required
- Comfortable interacting with visitors from different backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, or visitor-facing roles is a plus
Working Conditions
- Freelance / independent contractor
- Flexible schedule depending on availability
- Activities typically last between 3 and 8 hours
- Compensation per assignment (approximately ¥22,000 per day depending on the activity)
