Main duties:
- Technical review and liaison support for the development and construction of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects,
- Support for construction-related matters (EPC contracts, process management, safety management),
- Procedures with administrative bodies for permits and registrations required for the development and construction of power storage plants,
- Grid connection discussions with power companies and related procedures,
- Investigation of location and development potential in the early stages of the development of a BESS projects.

Essential requirements:
- University degree in civil, electrical or control systems engineering,
- Right to work in Japan,
- 3-5 years' professional experience,
- Able to travel domestically for business.
Desirable requirements:
- Experience in power plant development work (not limited to renewable energy and energy storage),
- Experience working in civil or electrical engineering,
- Experience in negotiating with government agencies and power companies,
- Practical experience in the development, design, quality control and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems that utilise it at infrastructure companies, electrical manufacturers, engineering companies, etc.
- Qualifications such as chief electrical engineer,
- Experience working in English.

- Ability to independently generate solutions to problems (while working under supervision),
- Ability to think flexibly and logically, without being bound by preconceived ideas,
- Action oriented, works with a sense of urgency,
- Prefer to work in cooperation with others and have good communication skills,
- Able to manage a large number of tasks in parallel,
- Have a desire to grow in the energy storage industry.
