The overall role is to ensure supply of materials to meet production plans & sales plans taking into consideration contracts, batch sizes, inventory policies and storage capacity. The scope includes procurement of raw materials of assigned categories for a group of plants.
The material planner will also lead the relationship Management activities with their suppliers, as they relate to operational or tactical processes.
What you’ll do for us:

Review and execute MRP suggestions and complementary routines to ensure the smooth supply of the assigned materials.

Support the Materials Review Board (MRB) & AOS (Age of Stock) processes

Onboard new suppliers and develop/maintain relationship with new and existing suppliers by performing regular performance reviews on suppliers’ delivery and drive improvements.

Seek productivity initiatives along with CPS sites and Suppliers link to lot size, pack size, MOQs.

Manage supplier’s quality and performance by submitting non-compliance report

Review and manage the Master Data and planning parameters in SAP

Manage purchase order appropriately

Manage appropriate inventory

Execute mitigation plans for ensuring supply continuity at Plant Level (risk analysis, supply continuity taskforce lead, mitigation plan follow-up, related reporting)

Execute MRB and AOS routines to guarantee Inventory Health and write off mitigation.

Set up Materials Policies in system to reflect supply current state and keep inventory stock in safe levels
