Head of the Department of Systems BioMedicine
システム発生研究部は、主にモデル動物を利用した解析により、個体発生や細胞分化、組織が構成される際のメカニズムを分子レベルで明らかにし、成育疾患の原因解明へと応用しています。発生学、遺伝学、ゲノム生物学、分子生物学、発生工学に基づいた手法により研究を進めています。
The Department of Systems BioMedicine aims to reveal the molecular mechanisms for embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue formation, and apply the findings to understand the causes of developmental diseases.
システム発生研究部長として研究部を統括し、モデル動物の作出、遺伝子発現データベースの構築や新規の研究システムの開発、ゲノム情報を利用した解析などにより成育疾患やヒトの発生・分化に関わる医学研究を推進します。さらに、国内外の研究所および医療機関との共同研究を推進し、若手研究者や大学院生の指導・育成、ならびに発生学、遺伝学やゲノム生物学に関する情報発信と社会貢献を担います。
The Head of the Department of Systems BioMedicine manages the department and promotes research related to post-genome sequencing analysis, systems biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, developmental biology, and epigenetics. He/She presents research findings as English papers and obtains research funding. He/she promotes collaborative research with research institutions and medical organizations, educates young researchers and graduate students, and disseminates information on embryology, genetics, and genome biology.
1. 学位（博士）を有すること。
2. モデル動物を用いた生物学的研究に関する顕著な研究業績を有し、ヒト疾患に関連する発生学、遺伝学やゲノム生物学の研究を意欲的に推進できること。
3. 女性の健康総合センター、他の研究部、病院の診療科及び事務部門と密接に連携して研究成果を挙げる能力を有すること。
4. 研究部をとりまとめて研究を推進する強い意志とリーダーシップを有すること、また、若手研究者や学生などに対し、研究指導ならびに教育を行えること。
5. 研究倫理、動物実験その他の関連法令・指針を遵守し、適切な研究体制を構築・運営できること。
6. 発生学、遺伝学やゲノム生物学に関する情報を社会に向けて発信できること。
7. 当センターの理念を理解し、研究所と病院の発展に意欲を持って貢献していただけること。

3. A strong track record of research in the field of medical science.
4. Effective collaboration skills with other sections in NCCHD.
5. Leadership and management skills in laboratory operations, and active involvement in mentoring and educating junior researchers and students.
6. Proactive public communication regarding embryology, genetics, and genome biology.

Salary, bonuses, and allowances will be provided in accordance with NCCHD personnel regulations. Working hours: 38 hours 45 minutes per week (8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 1-hour break; flex-time available). Employees will be enrolled in social insurance. Annual paid leave, maternity and childcare leave, and other benefits are available according to NCCHD policies. For details, please refer to the NCCHD website.

Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will be requested to give a presentation and attend an interview conducted by the selection committee.
1. 採用内定となった場合は、入職前に以下の書類を提出していただきます。
① 結核、B型肝炎の抗体価検査の結果
② ４種感染症（麻疹、風疹、水痘、ムンプス）の全てにつき２回分のワクチン接種証明
※証明が無い場合は４種感染症の抗体価検査の結果
③ 入職日前３か月以内に受診した健康診断の結果
2. 当センター指定の医療機関で健康診断等を受診する場合は、当センターが料金を負担します。指定外の医療機関で受診される場合は自己負担となります。
3. 抗体価検査の結果、当センターで定める基準に満たない場合には、自費でワクチンを接種していただきます。
4. 応募書類等は、個人情報に配所して適切に処理します。返却はいたしませんので予めご了承ください。
5. 採用日から６ヶ月間は試用期間となります。

1. If selected, the successful candidate must submit the following documents before appointment:
(1) Results of antibody titer tests for tuberculosis and hepatitis B
(2) Proof of two doses of the vaccines for measles, rubella, varicella, and mumps, or the results of antibody titer tests for these four diseases.
(3) Results of a medical check-up conducted within the past three months before the start date
2. If the medical examination is conducted at an NCCHD-designated medical institution, the cost will be covered by NCCHD. Examinations at non-designated institutions will be at the applicant's expense.
3. If antibody titers do not meet NCCHD standards, the applicant must personally pay for vaccination.
4. All submitted documents will be handled appropriately with regard to personal information and will not be returned.
5. The first six months will be a probationary period.
