Ability to define Test Design, Management, Test Case creation, Test Plan creation
Ability to define functional, non-functional, performance, Unit Tests, integration tests
Ability to define Test Automation approach, framework
Ability to translate business requirements to test cases (requirement traceability)
Ability to analyze test case results, derive metrics
Business level in at least either Japanese or English is must
(English speaking candidates with lower Japanese skills are welcomed)
Experience in Web as well as backend applications testing
Experience in waterfall and (nice to have) agile projects
Experience in cloud related projects is added plus
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of standard test tools like Zephyr, Selenium, Appium, LoadRunner (Performance center)
Knowledge of security testing tools like Veracode or similar
Knowledge of API testing and associated tools like SoapUI, Ready API
Unit test tools like Jest, NUnit, MUnit, Junit, Enzyme etc.
Knowledge of status code analysis and unit test coverage tools like SonarQube or equivalent
Knowledge and experience on CICD pipelines would be an added plus.
