Although we're a small company, our products power the software delivery of some of the largest enterprises in the world, as well as countless other retail, government, medical, and financial institutions.
Job Description
We are seeking a technical writer to join our growing Marketing & Communications team who can:
- Understand the problems our users are trying to solve and be able to articulate technical solutions in for a variety of audiences, from our end-users (developers, system admins) to managers
- Learn how to use our software products and related tools in our industry through research, tutorials, and assistance from product engineers
- Work with our product engineers to develop technical materials and solutions including samples and various guides (integration, user, API development, best practices)
- Create technical content, end-to-end, in multiple formats (long-form guides, short-form articles, surveys, webinars, etc.) that's promoted across different marketing channels (website, newsletters, LinkedIn, social, blogs, etc.)
- Create visual content such as infographics and screenshots that clearly communicate workflow processes and abstract topics
- Understand technical challenges our customers face and work with product engineers to develop solutions
The ideal candidate will have a background in technical writing for complicated B2B products, as well as experience with sales/marketing/business development, and some customer support.

Qualifications
- High-level (near native) English proficiency
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex content.
- Strong organization and communication skills with marketing team members, as well as management, engineers, freelancers, and other partners
- Comfortability pitching ideas/plans that you can execute for better ways to accomplish our goals
- 2-5 years experience working as a Technical Writer or in related job role.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and Markdown
- Scripting or some coding experience is a plus
The ideal candidate will have a technical background, demonstrate strong written communication, possess an ability to independently learn new technologies, and have experience working on a technical team.

Candidates need to need to live in the Tokyo-area and be able to work from our Minamiazabu Offices. Candidates must also be able to travel to the United States (Cleveland headquarters) once or twice per year.
