【Job descriptions】
This function is responsible for handling dealer development activities such as dealer development based upon the agreed strategy (opening, relocation, refurbishment, closure), new investor appointment or M&A and setup for VW & Audi Brand, termination of low-performing dealers, while establishing and maintaining a good and stable relationship with the dealers.
In addition to aforesaid items, this function is handling real estate leasing contracts for both brands are executes the Charging Network strategy in collaboration with existing dealer network.
Further this function supports establishing charging hubs for the Audi Brand in accordance with the overall charging strategy as well as implementing BEV related infrastructure such as Battery Competence Centers (BCC).
【Main Responsibility】
1) Network Development project type-1:
Recruit new investors or appoint an investor from existing business partners in order to cover open area by conducting a series of pitch process with several candidates and select the most appropriate candidate by evaluating proposed business plan including the showroom planning, financial stability, reliability as business partner etc. And finally align the result of the selection with top management of the respective brand (VW or Audi)
2) Network Development project type-2:
-Replace the existing non-performing dealer with a new investor or with one of the existing business partners by simple termination or M&A according to the situation.
-Make a concrete plan to execute the network reorganization process (consolidation or cancellation) avoiding any legal risks and conduct the pitch to select the business successor following aforesaid selection process for Network Development project type-1.
3) Network Development project type-3:
-Existing dealer facility enhancement by relocation and/or refurbishment, or/and rebuilding.
-Negotiate with investors for the investment and conduct the building projects by involving relevant departments and external suppliers to carry out the rebuilding projects smoothly.
-Get the approval from local VW or Audi top management and from VW AG or Audi AG relevant department.
4) Handle real estate leasing contract for the properties which are subleased by Audi Japan or VW Japan to some of the business partners (Dealers). Negotiate with landlords in case it is necessary.
5) Charging Network Development:
-Execute the Charging Network strategy in collaboration with existing dealer network, group brands (Porsche and VW) and 3rd party charging infrastructure providers including establishing charging hubs for the Audi Brand.
-Further support all the contractual operations in relation to the charging network expansion across the brands and entities. Further support the implementation of Battery Competence Centers (BCC) within the existing dealer network.
6) Dealer Contract Management:
-Support finalization of dealer contract contents or amendment contents based on the master document provided by VW AG or Audi AG HQ in collaboration with relevant departments and 3rd party legal firm.
-After the signing, monitor the execution of agreed condition on the contract and take corrective action if necessary for both brands.

1) Execute mid-term network strategy plan for VW & Audi
2) Make NC/UC display area CI/CD compliant for both brands
3) Implement new showroom concepts, e.g. #Progressive retail /Audi City Lights for Audi Brand
4) Expand charging network inside and outside the dealer network
5) Implementation of Battery Competence Centers
6) Support implementation and management of new dealer agreements for VW and Audi
1) Education: University degree
2) At least 2-3 years of experience in following area is mandatory
-Network Strategy setting based upon market potential data and geographical analysis
-Negotiation with investors under time and financial pressure
3) Language proficiency
-Japanese: native
-English: business or above

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners
