Global Insurance Data Architect / Data Platform Lead (GI-2645)
Department Introduction:
Join a long-term, stable engagement with a leading global non-life insurer in Japan, working on business-critical systems across multiple insurance domains.
Be part of transformation and modernization programs covering digital platforms, core systems, data, and regulatory initiatives, with strong exposure to modern technologies and global stakeholders.
Position Highlights:
Work on end-to-end data lake development and lifecycle, from ingestion to business use cases
Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud data and AI technologies
Collaborate with business teams to define and enable future data-driven use cases
Role Overview:
Lead large-scale data transformation initiatives for a global insurance client, driving data platform strategy and implementation on modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute enterprise data transformation programs
Define data architecture, platform strategy, and use cases
Align business requirements with data and technology solutions
Manage global teams and stakeholder communication (JP & EN)
Support data foundation development for future analytics/AI use cases
Qualifications:
Experience in data analytics / data science programs
Strong understanding of data architecture and data platforms
Experience working with Japanese and global stakeholders
Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
Preferred:
Experience in large-scale digital/data transformation programs
Experience managing large teams
Exposure to delivery and sales processes
