【 The Opportunity 】
This role leads Japan engineeringfacilities operations for a cluster of facilities, campuses, or a portfolio ofbuildings across the Japan region, while also managing operations for Korea.The position drives strategic deliverables set by the account leadership teamand the client—ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and quality controlfor service delivery.
You will oversee the planning,implementation, and coordination of engineering operations including:
・ maintenance and preventative maintenanceprogram delivery
・ 24x7 engineering team management
・ incident response and reporting (e.g.,typhoon, earthquake, fire, equipment failure)
・ communications with client stakeholdersand internal CBRE teams
・ energy management and complianceactivities
・ vendor and budget management (OPEX andCAPEX)
・ manpower development and capabilitybuilding
This is a high-impact leadership role withexposure to global stakeholder management, complex critical systems, andmeaningful contributions to service roadmaps and continuous improvement.
【 About you 】
The ideal candidate is a senior engineeringfacilities leader who can manage complex, critical environments while drivingcompliance, quality, and operational performance across Japan and Korea.
**Required**
・ Japanese & English business-levelreading, writing, and speaking skills.
・ Proven experience leading engineeringfacilities operations, including critical systems management.
・ Strong management experience (includingmulti-shift / 24x7 operations), vendor oversight, and staff development.
・ Strong ability to manage HSE complianceand support audits (e.g., ISO 14001, HSE audits).
・ Ability to lead incident response, produceclear written incident information, and escalate issues per protocol.
・ Demonstrated capability to prepare andmanage budgets (OPEX) and asset replacement programs (CAPEX).
**Preferred**
・ Experience supporting clients withfacilities service delivery under fixed-price or structured service agreements.
・ Experience with energy audits andanalysis, and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programs andengineering procedures.
・ Familiarity with local regulatorycompliance for building infrastructure and life safety systems.
