Job Title: Bilingual Senior Techno-Functional Consultant / Full-Stack AI Solution Consultant

Role Summary: The ideal candidate should experience of 8-10 years, a full-stack consultant with strong Japanese communication skills, hands-on development capability, and practical AI solution exposure. He or she should be comfortable working in Japan with customer business teams, converting early-stage business ideas into realistic PoC/MVP solutions, and coordinating with offshore engineering teams for delivery.
The strongest fit is not a pure developer and not a pure business analyst. The strongest fit is a hands-on solution consultant who can discuss business problems in Japanese, design the technical approach, build or guide the prototype, and present the outcome to customer stakeholders.
Job Description /Responsibilities:
- Work with Japanese business stakeholders to understand convenience-store operational challenges, customer experience needs, workforce issues, store productivity gaps, and automation opportunities.
- Convert business ideas into clear PoC or MVP scope, success criteria, user journeys, functional requirements, and technical feasibility notes.
- Design and develop prototype applications using modern front-end, back-end, database, cloud, and API technologies.
- Apply AI, Generative AI, computer vision, predictive analytics, and automation technologies where relevant to convenience-store use cases.
- Prepare high-level architecture, data flow, integration approach, API design, and deployment approach for PoC/MVP solutions.
- Coordinate with offshore development teams, customer IT teams, product teams, and business users.
- Prepare working demos, collect feedback, refine solution concepts, and support customer approval for next-stage development.

Technical Skills(Mandatory):
- Strong hands-on experience across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, cloud deployment, and integration.
- Practical exposure to AI-enabled applications, not just theoretical AI knowledge.
- Ability to work directly with Japanese business and IT stakeholders without depending fully on another translator or coordinator.
- Prior experience in building prototypes, MVPs, demos, pilots, or innovation solutions.
- Front-End: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Material UI.
- Back-End: Node.js, Express.js, Python, FastAPI, Java Spring Boot or .NET Core.
- Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis; ability to design practical data models for PoC/MVP use cases.
- API and Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, JSON, OAuth2, API Gateway concepts, third-party API integration.
- Mobile / Edge Exposure: Progressive Web Apps, mobile-friendly UI, edge device integration, IoT gateway concepts; mobile app exposure is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- JLPT N1 or N2
