WIZWORDs will begin recruiting Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) with experience teaching at a junior high or high school in Shizuoka Prefecture. The recruitment is for the spring of 2026.
As an Assistant Language Teacher for WIZWORDs, you will be teaching English to junior high and high school classes in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The role of an ALT is vital not only to the schools but also to the local community. An ALT's job is not only to be a language instructor but also a bridge for cultural exchange. We are looking for individuals who are positive, professional, and passionate about international exchange.
Note: This position requires driving to the schools. Applicants with a Japanese driver's license are encouraged to apply.

-Ideal candidate profile-
・Provide students with opportunities for active communication and create engaging lessons using PowerPoint
・Someone with a basic understanding of Japanese (conversational ability is not required but preferred).

・Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher.
・Previous teaching experience at a junior high or high school.
