Background to recruitment:
With the increasing complexity of global development and Chugai unique modalities, the need for strategic and agile CMC project execution continues to increase. Professionals who can collaborate with various stakeholders across functions and regions to maximize development value.
Description of work:
As a CMC Project Leader, you will develop and execute project plans, manage milestones, and clinical and commercial supply and regulatory strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams and global partners to ensure smooth project progression and successful delivery across different development stages. This position will be assigned to drive the development of mid-size cyclic peptide and small molecule assets.
Position Features:
You will collaborate with global partners, including Roche, to contribute to advanced pharmaceutical development through Chugai’s unique modalities. This role enables you to lead projects from strategy to execution and proactively enhance project value through innovative approaches, offering both challenge and significant opportunities for professional growth.

・医薬品の研究・開発・CMC関連業務における実務経験（必須）
・複数部門との協働を通じて課題解決に携わった経験（必須）
・医薬品開発におけるCMCプロジェクトリーダー経験（あれば尚可）

必須資格：
・薬学・理学・工学・農学系 修士卒以上
・TOEIC730点以上相当の英語力

Desired experience:
・Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical R&D or CMC-related functions
・Experience in cross-functional collaboration and solving complex development challenges
・Project execution experiment of pharmaceutical CMC activities
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
・Communication abilities in a global environment
・Fundamental knowledge of drug substance, drug product, analytics, CMC regulatory affairs, and quality assurance
・Strong analytical thinking, Strategic thinking
・Project management capability, Stakeholder coordination skills

Desired Qualification:
・A master’s degree or higher in pharmaceutical sciences, natural sciences, engineering, or agricultural sciences
