We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to develop and implement network strategies across multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing on-premises and cloud-based servers, workstations, and network devices. This role requires hands-on work with executives and users to meet their IT needs, ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure
Responsibilities:
•Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, UPS’s, and other hardware.
•Package and ship configured equipment to remote sites, when necessary.
•Monitor network performance to ensure optimal operation.
•Troubleshoot network issues and outages promptly.
•Maintain network security protocols and measures to protect the network against unauthorized access and data breaches.
•Enforce security policies and access controls.
•Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including updates and patches.
•Implement network infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
•Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
•Manage network-related software, such as operating systems and network applications.
•Maintain inventory of network assets and their configurations.
•Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
•Test and update configuration backups regularly to ensure data integrity.
•Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
•Maintain network schematic diagrams.
•Prepare reports on network performance, security, and usage.
•Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services are delivered in line with expectation to ensure successful delivery of services.
•Follow company procedures and ITIL best practice for Change, Incident, Capacity and Problem management.
•Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to FDA, SOX, ISO regulatory authorities.
Coordinate, prepare and respond to all IT audit requests and resolve any audit findings.

Knowledge,Skills & Abilities Required:
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Deskside role with basic knowledge of Layer1-3 Networking protocols.
•Applied technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including the OSI model and TCP/IP.
•Experience of Data Centre environment, Nexus Switching, and F5 load balancing desirable.
•Experience of delivering network infrastructure in a regulated manufacturing environment and manufacturing systems desirable.
•Experience of cloud networking desirable.
•Experience of deploying SD-WAN desirable.
•Applied knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
•Experience working in multinational company/environment desirable.
•Current Cisco CCNA, CompTia Network+ or equivalent professional certification are desirable.
•ITIL v3 foundation or higher qualification desirable.
•Oral/Written Communication Skills: Fluent Japanese & English languages
