Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to achieve assigned sales and profitability targets for the Industrial Gases (COMP + CAF) business in Japan by managing existing OE customers, distributors and resellers, supporting them with technically advanced filtration solutions and handling commercial aspects of the business. This position has direct impact on the Industrial Gases results in Japan.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales and profitability targets for COMP/CAF based on a) current OE project and expansion; b) New OE and opportunities development; c) Distributor and sales network management; d) AFM sales
- Provide data for market surveys (market size review, new opportunity, Competitors etc.) and data analysis and report on COMP and CAF, develop and deploy tactics and strategy rapidly and accurately.
- Problem solving on customer’s complaints and troubleshooting for assigned COMP and CAF issues.
- Help to define business strategy and tactics with medium and long-term view.
- Provide sales support and promote new products, expand into new markets based on market research
- Collaborate closely within the IG department as well with external supporting functions and stakeholders

Key Qualifications
Education Qualification:
- University Degree or equivalent Professional Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial-related field or equivalent knowledge of Compressor Business
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Sales - Product Knowledge, PC & Software Use, Data Analysis. Pricing/Cost, Market analysis
- PC -Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Knowledge -Automotive, Construction machinery, Industrial machinery, Sales -Advanced knowledge,
- Job experience -More than 5 years of sales in a manufacturing company, Presentation skills,
- Filtration industry knowledge and relevant experience are a big PLUS.
Leadership Competence:
- Strategic Leadership, Management experience is an advantage
- Global business knowledge, highly motivated/ability to motivate team members, Strategic agility, Creativity
- Problem-solving attitude. Lead problem-solving from customer or internal issues as top of a team
Relevant Experience:
- More than 5 years’ sales experience in business related to air/gas compressor product field. Preferably, experience in filtration solutions as well.
- Presentation skill, and Greenbelt or alternative qualification be preferable.
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
- Domestic travel: 30% per month as estimated… Customers, Suppliers, the plant, or the Tachikawa office. Occasional Overseas travel
- Strong business English

問題解決の姿勢。チームのトップとして顧客または社内の問題解決を主導する
期待する経験
- エア・ガスコンプレッサ関連製品の分野における5年以上の営業経験(フィルトレーションに関する経験があれば尚可)。
- プレゼンテーションスキル。
シックス・シグマのグリーンベルト(または同等の資格)。

- 国内出張(顧客、群馬工場、サプライヤー等)、海外出張あり。
- 英語でのコミュニケーションが必要。
