Job Title: IT Project Manager (Wealth Management IT)
Location: Tokyo

Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Wealth Management IT team in Tokyo. This role will focus heavily on financial governance, budgeting, and reporting across IT projects, working closely with both local and global stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong project management capabilities combined with a solid understanding of financial processes within IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Governance
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes across IT projects, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
- Monitor project financials to ensure alignment with approved budgets and business objectives
- Validate and track financial KPIs and ensure proper cost allocation methodologies are applied
Project Financial Tracking
- Confirm project approval statuses and oversee purchase requests (PR) and purchase orders (PO) tracking
- Ensure all financial activities align with internal controls and financial targets
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to both global and Japan-based Finance teams
- Support the creation of executive-level reports for senior IT management, highlighting key metrics and project performance
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across stakeholders
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with IT Business Units and business managers to enforce financial governance and budget adherence
- Act as a bridge between IT, Finance, and PMO teams
Resource & Program Support
- Track and report on resource planning, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets
- Provide financial and operational support to the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure smooth execution and governance
Additional Information
- Candidates must currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa allowing full-time work (visa sponsorship for renewals available)
