A Tier 1 global manufacturer with a strong reputation and rapid expansion is seeking a Compliance Director. This is an excellent opportunity to show your leadership skills within an international company.
The main responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Monitor and contribute to improvements in the compliance management system
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the compliance and ethics program
- Offer solutions and give advice regarding the compliance and ethics of the company
- Liaise with internal and external parties and regarding compliance tasks and escalate where necessary

The successful candidate will have:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in law/audit/consulting firm
- Attorney qualfication in Japan or other common law jurisdiction
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English
- The ability to project strong leadership and organizational management skills
- Several years' experience with compliance within an international environment would be ideal
