Manager, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management and Physical Security (L1)
■Job Purpose
Our direction is to make the security an additional selling point for the company. Operational Resilience & Physical Security (ORPS) team is an integral part of the Security Division. The Manager of Operational Resilience & Physical Security is responsible for leading and managing the team that ensures the organization’s operational continuity, crisis management -including major cybersecurity incidents- and physical security capabilities. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, operational oversight, team leadership, and continuous improvement activities to safeguard the organization against various security threats and operational disruptions. Key accountabilities and specific activities are listed below but are not limited to these.
■Key Accountabilities
Operational Resilience
・Govern the group and local Operational Resilience programs.
・Lead crisis response and recovery efforts during cybersecurity incidents, large-scale IT incidents, natural disasters, pandemics, and physical security incidents.
Project/program management skill involving leading a meeting with IT and business teams.
・Provide leadership and coordination during crisis situations, ensuring effective response and recovery.
・Oversee IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) programs including Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and testing.
・Drive the frameworks for Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
・Ensure organizational preparedness, drills & exercises and stock management of emergency supplies.
Physical Security
・Oversee physical security measures, including access control, surveillance, and security personnel management.
・Manage travel security programs for employees and executives.
・Support health and safety program by working with Human Resource.
Budget and Resource Management
・Prepare, monitor, and control the budget for the ORPS functions.
・Manage internal staff, contractors, and vendor relationships to ensure effective service delivery.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
・Produce regular reports on security and resilience activities, incidents, and improvements.
・Manage programs for conducting assessments, continuous improvements and updates of relevant plans and procedure documents.
Team Leadership and Development
・Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve organizational and individual goals.
・Ensure staff compliance with rules, standards, and regulatory requirements.
・Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in security, resilience, or IT infrastructure management.
・Technical IT skills related to security incident response, disaster recovery, and large-scale IT incident handling (including familiarity with security tools, incident analysis, and infrastructure).
・Business-level or above proficiency in English and Japanese.
・Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
・Strong leadership and team management abilities.
・Constructive critical thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
・Flexibility to respond promptly outside of business hours in case of emergencies.
・Budgeting and vendor management experience.
・Proactive support of organizational initiatives and forums.
・Relevant certifications (e.g., security certifications like CISSP, BCM/DR certifications such as CBCP) are a plus.
【賃金】現年収、能力、経験に応じて当社規定により優遇
【勤務時間】
管理監督者に該当するとみなし、次のとおりにする。
始業・終業時刻:午前9時・午後5時を基本とし、労働者の決定に委ねる。
休憩:正午から午後1時までの1時間を基本とし、始業・終業時刻の途中に労働者の決定により取得するものとする。
