Salary is based on National University Corporation Hokkaido University salary rules for faculty
subject to annual salary system. For health insurance, etc., the employed joins the employee
pension insurance, mutual association of the ministry of education, culture, sports, science and
technology, employment insurance, and workers' accident compensation insurance. As a
measure to prevent second-hand smoke, smoking is prohibited on the premises except for
specific outdoor smoking areas. As working hours, Discretionary Work System for
specialized work based on consent (*) or Fixed Working hours system will be applied. (*
Determined as working 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.).

(3) Publications within 10 papers. Summary of each paper concerning the originality, critical
finding, and applicants' contribution.
(4) Summary of past research (maximum 3 pages of A4 paper) and future research plans and
educational aspirations (maximum 2 pages of A4 paper)
(5) Recommendation letters or a list of two references to whom the University can ask for opinions
on the research and education experiences of the candidate.
(6) Other research activities (awards, conference presentations [divided into invited lectures,
