This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, established team of lawyers, and deal with a broad variety of legal and compliance matters in one of the most prestigious pharmaceutical companies worldwide. You will work in English and Japanese and be part of a global legal function.
Healthcare sector experience would be great but not necessary, as full training will be given - more important is your ability and communication skills. A great opportunity to get started in healthcare legal!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal support for business projects in new therapeutic areas
- Contract drafting/negotiation
- Ensuring compliance with necessary laws, regulations and practices
- Handling various commercial transactions
- Develop and enhance the company's compliance profile

The required qualifications and experience for this role are as follows:
- Bar qualified (Japan/US/UK)
- Experience (5+ years) with a law firm or in-house, with knowledge of transactions in the pharmaceutical sector an advantage but not a must
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
