仕事内容:
Primary Role
- Lead and manage the admissions process for prospective and current families, in close collaboration with the Head of School.
- Take primary responsibility for the day-to-day operation and coordination of admissions systems, communications, timelines, and family relationships.
- Partner closely with the Head of School on student enrolment decisions, class placements, and broader admissions strategy.
- Play a leading role in the organisation of school events, trips, orientations, and special events in coordination with other faculty members.
Major Duties
- Act as a first and ongoing point of contact for prospective families from enquiry through enrolment, and through to transition or graduation for departing students.
- Respond warmly and promptly to admissions enquiries by telephone, email, and in person.
- Organise and conduct visits for prospective families, ensuring a positive and professional experience at all times.
- Correspond with families following school tours.
- Process applications in accordance with admissions procedures, including arranging school visits, reviewing documentation, and supporting families through the admissions process.
- Manage important health information (including allergies and medical history) and communicate with relevant parties as appropriate.
- Handle IBT administration.
- Organise orientations for new families and other community-building events.
- Analyse trends in student recruitment and retention and contribute to admissions strategy and best practice.
- Maintain confidential family records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain the Admissions Calendar.
- Liaise with the Communications team regarding public relations and marketing and proactively support opportunities to promote the school and its community.
- Maintain the alumni database and coordinate alumni events.
- Handle recommendations and documentation for students applying to other schools.
- Keep up to date with admissions trends and demographic changes.
- Represent the school positively and professionally at all times.
Other Responsibilities
- Other administrative duties to assist with the running of the school.
- Assists teachers and other faculty as needed.

The Montessori School of Tokyo (MST) is seeking an experienced and qualified admissions professional to join our front office team as soon as possible. We are open to either:
- a full-time onsite Admissions Officer; or
- a part-time onsite candidate working collaboratively as part of an admissions team.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing a range of internal and external communications and systems, and will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, a warm and personable approach, and the highest level of professionalism.

Essential:
- Fluent in both English and Japanese, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Warm, personable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Affinity with and interest in Montessori education.
- Highly organised and skilled in gathering and presenting data.
- Ability to evaluate records/transcripts and deliver presentations.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Google Workspace and databases.
- Ability to research the admissions policies, standards, and procedures of other international schools, local schools, and universities.
- Ability to improve systems and procedures where appropriate.
- Ability to travel occasionally outside the Kanto region.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Educational/Montessori Certification.
- Experience of working in an administrative role, ideally in a school and/or with children or customer-service driven environment.
勤務時間・曜日:
Working Hours:8:00AM〜4:30PM from Monday to Friday. This includes a lunch break of 45 minutes.
Japanese public holidays are not holidays of MST.
Remote work is available as an option on special occasions.

固定残業代あり:月給 ¥400,000 〜 ¥450,000は1か月当たりの固定残業代¥92,336〜¥103,878(40時間相当分)を含む。40時間を超える残業代は追加で支給する。
