The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering function across manufacturing sites in Japan, including equipment installation, modification, renewal, and technical support.
The role supports stable and safe production while driving improvements in quality, productivity, and cost efficiency in close collaboration with Production, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams.

(1) エンジニアリング統括 / Engineering Leadership

工場現場への技術支援およびトラブル対応

Plan and execute equipment design, modification, and renewal activities
Maintain and improve engineering standards and technical quality
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to manufacturing sites
(2) 設備投資・改善活動 / Capital Investment & Improvement

設備投資案件（CAPEX）の技術検討、仕様策定、実行支援
工程改善、生産性向上、設備信頼性向上施策の推進
設備ライフサイクル管理および更新計画の策定

Support capital investment projects including technical scope definition
Drive productivity, reliability, and process improvement initiatives
Manage equipment life‑cycle and replacement planning
(3) 安全・品質・コンプライアンス / Safety & Compliance

設備安全、プロセス安全、EHS 要件を考慮した設計・技術レビュー
MOC（変更管理）、PSSR（稼働前安全確認）への技術的関与
法規制および社内基準への適合確保

Ensure equipment and process safety through engineering reviews
Support MOC and PSSR activities from an engineering standpoint
Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards
(4) 組織・人材・外部管理 / People & Vendor Management

1. 必須要件 / Required Qualifications
日本語
製造業（化学、材料、プロセス型産業等）におけるエンジニアリング経験（目安8年以上）
製造設備、機械、ユーティリティ、保全に関する実務知識
工場設備導入、改造、改善活動の実績
日本語：ビジネスレベル必須
英語：技術資料の理解および業務コミュニケーション能力
English
8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing industries
Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and utilities
Proven experience in equipment installation, modification, and improvement
Business‑level Japanese required
Working‑level English for technical documentation and communication
