Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Operations – 65%
Procure-to-Pay
- Process and review corporate credit card bills and employee expense claims.
- Record intercompany invoices and support intercompany reconciliation.
- Prepare and process payments in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain vendor master records, including new vendor registrations, bank detail updates, and supporting documentation for internal control purposes.
- Maintain accurate supporting documents for audit and internal control purposes.
Customer Billing / Order-to-Cash
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Support banking administrative matters, including payment records, banking documentation, signatory records, online banking access, and liaison with banking counterparts on operational matters.
- Support foreign currency transfers, incoming and outgoing payments, and exchange rate quotation where required.
Record-to-Report / Month-End Closing
- Support month-end closing activities, including GL entries, invoicing, inventory, fixed assets, stock reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and billing cut-off.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments.
- Ensure proper recording of cost of goods sold by product line or activity.
- Support consumption tax filing preparation and liaise with external tax agent.
- Assist with withholding tax calculations and documentation on applicable payments.
- Support periodic inventory checks and stock count activities.
- Support information flow between local functions, regional finance, and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate local audit requirements, including preparation of supporting schedules and liaison with external auditors where applicable.
2. Process Improvement Projects – 20%
- Act as local coordinator for process and systems improvement initiatives across finance and operations.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and validation of master data and process documentation.
- Assist with the alignment of workflows and procedures with future-state operating models.
- Support data migration and process transition activities as part of system improvement initiatives.
- Support UAT, parallel run, and stabilization activities where system implementations/changes are involved.
- Coordinate with local users, Finance, Operations, and regional project stakeholders.
3. Local HR and Administrative Coordination – 15%
Local HR Support
- Act as a local liaison point for selected HR initiatives and employee communication.
- Support verbal and written communication between English and Japanese where required.
- Provide local cultural and language support to facilitate communication between Japan and regional teams.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate basic office administrative matters, including IT hardware support liaison, printer maintenance, pantry replenishment, stationery, office supplies, and mailing arrangements.
- Support local office coordination to ensure smooth daily operations.

勤務時間・曜日:
(Full-time employees, contract employees, and temporary staff) ・9:00-17:30 (12:00-13:00 break, 7.5 hours of actual work) ・Overtime, weekday work only

- Annual paid leave: 14 days per year, increasing based on length of service, up to a maximum of 21 days per year.
