Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Job Grade: 13
Job Summary
Lead financial forecasting and analysis, informing senior management on company performance and guiding strategic decisions.
Understand the business strategy and provide highly relevant insights into business performance.
Act as a business partner to the Marketing and Customer Service and Logistics teams to drive efficiencies and profitability
Ensure appropriate financial control over management reporting and alignment with corporate policies and strategies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the creation, analysis, and review of forecasts, budgets, and financial models for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with commercial and regional/division teams to ensure financial strategies align with global and regional business objectives.
Act as a key stakeholder in the decision making process through the provision of risk-adjusted financial information and analysis.
Ensure solid understanding of internal commitments and the external environment, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities and proposing sustainable solutions
Focus on monitoring and evaluating brand's financial health to strategically guide and set targets within the commercial planning process
Develop, communicate, and monitor financial KPI's to ensure projected profit targets by brand are achieved;
Provide action-oriented reporting to the Commercial and Leadership Teams
Provide analytics to support budget reviews
Engage with departments to consolidate budgets, enhancing governance and strategic resource allocation.

Education/Experience Requirements
College Degree (BS - Business/Finance)
Finance Experience (5+ years)
Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
Have a detailed understanding of financial analysis and business analysis processes.
Systems Experience (SAP Preferred, Domo, Sigma, Snowflake)
Computer Skills (Excel, Googlesheets, Big Query)
Demonstrated strong oral / written communications skills in Japanese and English including presentation skills.
Strong strategic / analytical skills.
Reports to: Sr Director, Finance Hill's Colgate Japan • Finance
Work Location: Tokyo Office (Mon~Thur) Remote(Fri acceptable)
Direct Reports: 1 Temporary BP Staff
Travel Requirement: Domestic travel ( 2 to 3 times per year)
