Position Overview:
The Travel Retail Boutique Manager is responsible for leading the boutique in a fast-paced airport environment, acting as a Brand Ambassador while driving sales performance, operational excellence, and team development.
This role ensures the delivery of a consistent and exceptional client experience, effectively manages high traffic flows, collaborates closely with airport stakeholders, and maximizes business opportunities within the travel retail environment.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop the boutique team by fostering a high-performance and client-centric culture.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support individual development through regular follow-ups and objective setting.
- Ensure efficient team organization, scheduling, and peak-time coverage aligned with airport traffic.
2. Sales Performance & Client Experience
- Drive boutique performance by maximizing sales, KPIs, and conversion in a fast-paced travel retail environment.
- Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience to international clientele and lead by example on the sales floor.
- Identify business opportunities and implement action plans to achieve targets.
3. Client Development & CRM
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and VIPs while driving CRM and clienteling initiatives.
- Monitor CRM performance and support commercial events and activations with travel retail partners.
4. Inventory Planning & Sell-In Management
- Propose and submit regular orders (monthly or bi-weekly) to business partners to maintain optimal assortment and stock levels in line with Bulgari guidelines.
- Achieve monthly Sell-In targets defined by Bulgari.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure product availability and minimize stock imbalance.
5. Operations & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, airport regulations, security, and customs requirements.
- Oversee daily boutique operations, stock management, reporting, and visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, landlords, and travel retail partners to support smooth operations and business growth.
6. Business Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor sales, KPIs, inventory, and business trends through regular reporting and forecasting.
- Consolidate Sell-In/Sell-Out data and support financial reporting.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities.
7. Training & Development
- Deliver product and sales training to store staff to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.
