A Clinical Manager is responsible for managing and improving their area of responsibility with excellence by supervising, coaching, motivating and establishing the direction for the Clinical Staff team in the Yokohama Treat.
This employee must demonstrate ability to provide clinical leadership to the group of Clinical Staff independently, and should demonstrate skills and desire to be a leader to all Align employees.
This position should work closely with the Clinical Staff, providing ideas for improvement in the Clinical Group and the production. Close working relationship with Managers from other departments in search of opportunities for improvement will be an important part of the Clinical Manager role.
Most importantly, this position should demonstrate People leadership to build a robust team and develop people.
The Clinical Manager will report directly to the Sr. Director, Japan Treatment Planning Operations.
1. Manage area of responsibility with excellence
- The Clinical Manager is also responsible for recruiting, staffing, training, and discipline of clinical staff to support on-going production needs in a high growth environment.
- This individual should make sure that appropriate skill level and ability for all clinical staff positions is present and organize develop and coach for internal candidates in leadership roles.
2. Advances ability to do the job supposed to do
- Implement and champion continuous process improvement methodologies and techniques.
- Establish ClinCheck quality monitoring processes and clinical profiling process for targeted customers.
3. Improve your area of responsibility
- This individual must demonstrate ability to provide clinical leadership to a clinicians group
- Support of other teams and direct reports in their implementation of improvements
- In charge of constant supervision of the technicians to guarantee high clinical quality standards in the Align Technology, Inc. products and services. This task will be accomplished by providing an organized structure that supports production and customer care needs in his/her area of responsibility.
4. Support corporate initiatives
- It is expected excellent participation as presenter, hostess and organizer for the Study Clubs and Workshops for customers.
- Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the group for Invisalign and/or CAD-CAM services products.
- Propose ideas for software development and participate in projects for their implementation.
- Demonstrate excellent skills at interacting and communicating with top management groups
- Propose ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved service and customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements.
5. Must maintain a close involvement with all training processes in the Treat.
6. Ensure proper managing of all related Product Safety reports.
- Closely work with Regulatory and QA teams to assure appropriate handling of Product Safety reports.
- Propose ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved management of Product Safety report
7. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
8. Perform other duties as assigned
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
-
A Bachelor Degree, or may have a Master’s Degree from a four-year university.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in a people management position or project management position
- Proficient personal computer skills including intermediate software packages, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
LANGUAGES
- Must possess full mastery of the English language.
