At SoftwareOne, people are our biggest asset, and thus we continually look to invest, grow and develop our people. As an AWS Business Development Executive (Pre-Sales), you’ll be a trusted advisor to customers and account managers while advancing your expertise in AWS solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the full AWS solutions and services sales lifecycle
Drive services GP performance across assigned regions, territories, or accounts
Analyze client requirements and develop accurate, research‑based technical solution proposals aligned to the customer journey
Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and contracts for AWS solutions and services
Collaborate with pre‑sales technical teams to enhance sales engineering effectiveness and recommend actionable strategies
Support vendor partnerships and alliances, serving as a primary contact and driving GTM initiatives and solution marketing activities
What we need to see from you:
- Eligibility to work full-time in Japan, with professional proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) and English communication skills appropriate to the requirements of the role.
Proven sales experience in Japan, including AWS products and services
Ability to independently engage with engineering, management, and executive stakeholders to position complex solutions
Strong knowledge of IT trends, AWS principles, architecture, and cloud management, including migration planning and execution
Skilled in developing value propositions for hybrid cloud projects, advising on best practices, and aligning IT strategy with business goals
Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, solution marketing experience, and consistent record of exceeding performance metrics
