Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging professional to introduce to multinational audiences the history, philosophy, and practices of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (chanoyu). The successful candidate will lead presentations and interactive experiences that deepen understanding of Japanese culture and convey the core values of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquillity that form the fundamental tenets of the Japanese tea ceremony.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain the history and cultural significance of the Japanese tea ceremony
- Guide participants through the steps of a tea ceremony experience
- Answer questions and adapt explanations for different age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Prepare and help maintain tea ceremony equipment and materials
- Ensure demonstrations are accurate, respectful, and culturally authentic

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Japanese tea ceremony traditions and practices. (Detailed training will be provided before and after appointment.)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching, guiding tours, cultural interpretation, or public demonstrations
- Experience working in museums, cultural centres, schools, or community events.
- Graduates in languages or humanities subjects

勤務時間・曜日:
- 勤務時間：10:00～17:00
- 実際の労働時間：1日6時間
- シフト：週2日 *
- 1日4セッション**（セッション間の休憩は約20分）
- 土曜日・日曜日は休み。
* 注：より重要な役割を希望される候補者には、週3日の勤務スケジュールも検討可能です（この場合の月給は144,000円となります）。希望される応募者とは個別に協議させていただきます。
** 注：場合によっては（需要に応じて、通常は繁忙期に）5回目のセッションが追加されることがあり、その際は特別料金として4,500円が支払われます。
Working Hours/Days
- Work hours: 10:00–17:00
- Actual working time: 6 hrs/day
- Shift: 2 days/week *
- 4 sessions per day** with ~20 min break between sessions
- Saturdays & Sundays off.
* Note: 3-day/week schedule may be available for candidates interested in a larger role (monthly salary in this case is ¥144,000.) To be discussed individually with interested applicants.
** Note: A 5th session may occasionally be added (on-demand basis, usually peak season) paid at a special rate of ¥4,500.

- 通勤手当 支給
- 賞与：年2回（6月・12月）、会社の業績に基づき支給
