仕事内容:
We are seeking a Compliance Officer based in Tokyo with deep roots in the Japanese banking and financial ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings established relationships with Japanese banks and financial institutions, and the regulatory knowledge to support our local compliance framework and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with Japanese regulatory requirements.
- Leverage bank relationships to support account opening, banking operations, and financial partnerships.
- Liaise with Japanese banks, payment system operators, and regulators on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor compliance and report to senior management.
- Stay current on Japanese financial and payment regulations and advise the team accordingly.
- Support FSA licensing and Zengin clearing filings as needed.
- Conduct compliance training and address compliance issues promptly.
求める人材:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of compliance or financial operations experience in Japan.
- Established relationships with Japanese banks and financial institutions strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese Securities, Asset Management, FX, and/or Digital Asset regulations.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
- Independent, proactive, and comfortable in a startup-style environment.
- FSA Type 1 Fund Transfer Operator licensing and/or Zengin clearing experience is a plus.
