About the Role
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Tokyo, Japan on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will provide onsite technical support to end users, ensuring that desktop systems, laptops, software applications, and peripheral devices operate effectively.
The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, supporting Microsoft Windows environments, and assisting users with day-to-day IT-related requests. You will work closely with end users and other IT teams to maintain a stable and productive workplace technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Support Microsoft Office and related business applications
- Respond to incidents and service requests through the ticketing system
- Document support activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues

勤務時間・曜日:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 8-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break
- Onsite role based in Tokyo, Japan
- Occasional overtime may be required depending on business needs
- No remote work; candidates are expected to work from the client site
- Weekend work is generally not required but may be requested in exceptional circumstances
