仕事内容：
R&Dカテゴリ（非臨床研究、臨床開発、市販後調査、医薬安全性）における、戦略的カテゴリマネジメントおよびソーシングの実践。直近は検査、市販後調査、医薬安全性の購買業務を担当するが、他カテゴリを含めた担当領域の将来的なローテーションはあり得る。

・戦略的ソーシングプラン立案と実践
・ビジネス部門との信頼関係構築、連携、活動支援

Background to recruitment:
Chugai Pharmaceuticals aims "World Class Drug Development" and "Cutting-Edge Operation Model" in the latest growth strategy, TOP I 2030, positioning DX, RED Shift, and Open Innovation as enabling key drivers. Procurement Department is also transforming ourselves to support TOP I 2030 achievement. Especially, R&D category (e.g. non-clinical CRO, clinical CRO, Post Marketing Surveillance, Pharmacovigilance) is directly associated with TOP I 2030 achievement, and R&D Procurement Sourcing Lead is expected to lead optimal procurement by leveraging his/her experience and capability.
Description of work:
Strategic category management and sourcing for R&D category (e.g. Non-clinical Research Division CRO, clinical CRO, Post Marketing Surveillance, Pharmacovigilance). Among R&D category, Clinical testing, Post Marketing Surveillance, and Pharmacovigilance are initial in-charge areas.
- Development and delivery of strategic category management plan.
- Development and delivery of strategic sourcing plan.
- Support business functions with appropriate partnership.
- Implementation of SRM (Supplier Relationship Management).
- Collaboration with Roche Global Procurement.
Position Features：
Chugai Pharmaceuticals owns full pharmaceutical functions represented by R&D, production, and sales procuring wide range of products and services. Especially, R&D functions are driving TOP I 2030 target, 'Doubling R&D output' and ''Annual launch of Chugai developed global products', and R&D Procurement has potential to contribute not only to cost management, but also to innovation or top-line growth. There are growth opportunities as a next leader candidate because you are required to drive cross-functional alignment including managements by acquiring wide and deep knowledge of procurement, R&D, and pharmaceutical business. You can also expect potential and effective collaboration with Roche based on the strategic alliance. There are opportunities of global collaboration for example in process/system implementation and sourcing also in Procurement Department.
求める経験：
・以下の経験のうちいずれか。(必須)
-事業会社での調達経験3年以上
-コンサルティングファームでの調達プロジェクト経験
-製薬企業における非臨床研究部門、臨床開発部門、市販後調査部門、医薬安全性部門いずれかの業務経験（3年以上）
・自社海外法人、あるいは海外サプライヤとの協業経験（1年以上）。特に英語でのコミュニケーション（Reading/Writing/Speaking）にある程度問題がないこと。（任意）
・購買戦略立案からソーシング実践までの一連の購買実務経験。（任意）
求めるスキル・知識・能力：
・社内外のステークホルダーの要望を言語化・整理し、関係者間の納得ある合意形成を図るためのコミュニケーション能力、および交渉能力
・支出データや市場情報からインサイトを導出し、日々の活動に落とし込める戦略立案力、分析能力、実行力
・R&D部門と対等に議論できる業務知見。R&D領域未経験の場合には、必要な知識を一定期間で習得できるキャッチアップ能力

求める資格：
ビジネスレベルの英語力（TOEIC 730点程度を想定）

Desired experience:
・Either of the experiences below (Required);
- Over three years experience in procurement department of a operating company or experience of procurement project in a consulting firm.
- Over three years experience in either of Non-clinical Research Division, Clinical, Post Marketing Surveillance, or Pharmacovigilance in pharmaceutical company.
・Over one year experience of collaboration with overseas affiliates or suppliers. Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).(Preferred)
・Experience of procurement operations from strategy planning to sourcing execution. (Preferred)
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
・Communication and negotiation capability which lead feasible and rationale conclusion by verbalizing and summarizing internal/external stakeholders' requirements.
・Strategic thinking, analysis, and vitality which plan and deliver procurement initiatives eliciting deep insights from appropriate data sources (e.g. Chugai's spend data, articles, news, supplier interview).
・R&D department equivalent knowledge of technology and operation, or capability to acquire required R&D knowledge within feasible catch-up period if necessary.
Desired competencies:
・Develop procurement blueprint based on objectives and visions associated with TOP I 2030, and deliver initiatives aligning with stakeholders.
Build consensus between stakeholders by stacking on appropriate goal even under conflicts and/or environmental changes.
Have curiosity on cutting-edge technologies and science represented by R&D and proceed self-learning proactively.
