This role acts as a technical advisor throughout the customer journey, from opportunity identification and solution design to project delivery. The individual works closely with customers to understand business challenges, develop tailored solutions, and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs). They deliver presentations, workshops, and technical enablement activities for customers and channel partners. The role also supports project implementation by ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery and providing ongoing technical expertise.

Setup any needed environment

Prepare test data, integrations and any customization needed

Execution & Validation

Work hands-on to execute the PoC, performing necessary tests and validation steps

Monitor technical and functional performance

Address issues promptly and closely with HQ technical team

Documentation & Results analysis

Document the PoC result clearly including lessens learned and areas of improvement

Analyze the PoC met the customer success criteria and identify gaps for next steps

Empowering technical stakeholders in prospect to move forward + build “advertising tower” with key influencers/ambassadors with community

Conduct and perform end customer hands-on workshop

Channel Partner Support

Joint call with Channel partner for deliver presentation and demos to end customer stakeholders

Bridging the gap between pre-sales phase and delivery

Transition project knowledge and solution designs to the delivery team

Ensure everyone understands the agreed-upon scope, objectives, and success criteria

Provide technical and business context to avoid misalignment

Active Involvement During the Project

Participate in project kick-off meetings and initial workshops to reinforce vision and goals

Stay engaged throughout the project as a trusted advisor or technical subject matter of expert

Be available to clarify solution design details or address changes in client requirements

Change management & risk mitigation

Supporting User Acceptance and Rollout

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pre-sales, Sales Engineering, Solution Architect or Technical Consulting in a customer-facing role
-
Knowledge of industrial products and applications like PLC, DCS and HMI Platform software/hardware provided by major OT vendors like Mitsubishi Electric/Omron/Yokogawa/Toshiba/Siemens/Rockwell.

Well understanding of Cyber security requirements in OT environment including its compliance with standards like IEC62443/NIST CSF and ISO27001.

Flexibility for travel including oversea travel

Experience in people management (eg. SE manager) will be plus
