About the project:
Multi-program engagement with leading Global Tier1 for end-to-end AD-ADAS System Development.
A multidisciplinary project team to work closely with Tiier1 for Project Management, System Architecture Design, Software Development (Base Software, Middleware & Application Software), AI Integration, System Integration, System Validation, Safety, Security & Process Compliance.
With a strong focus on quality, scalability, and governance, the engagement accelerates development cycles and supports the delivery of safe, intelligent and production & ready ADAS solutions.
About the position:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing autonomous driving vehicle algorithm.
-End‑to‑end ownership of ADAS algorithms in models: Build perception/control/decision logic in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, validate via MIL/SIL, and collaborate on Embedded Coder hand‑off to ECU teams—see your models become production software.
- Hands‑on with real ADAS use cases: Work on concrete functions like ACC, AEB, LKA, TJA, sensor fusion, tuning behaviors against datasets and scenario suites to meet performance and safety targets.
- Toolchain proficiency that travels: Get practical exposure to Simulink/Stateflow, Embedded Coder, MATLAB Test, requirements management (DOORS/Jama), Python automation for test harnesses, and SIL/HIL environments.
- Structured technical feedback loops: Regular model reviews, requirement walkthroughs, and simulation result clinics sharpen your design decisions, interface rigor, and verification mindset.

Job responsibilities:
Daily development of ADAS algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, including creation of functional models, block‑level logic, and state machines for perception, control, or decision functions
Translation of system and software requirements into Simulink models, with regular requirement clarification meetings with system/vehicle teams (1–2 times per week)
Preparation and maintenance of model design documents, signal/interface definitions, and data flow diagrams using tools such as Simulink, Stateflow, and DOORS
Execution of MIL and SIL testing, including test case creation, simulation result analysis, and debugging of model behavior against functional requirements
Support of auto‑code generation (Embedded Coder) and handover to C/C++ implementation teams, including model optimization for performance and memory
Participation in model reviews, defect analysis, and sprint reviews, collaborating closely with software, testing, and integration teams
Existing control algorithm model rearchitecture and refactoring for optimization and increase the maintainability and modularity.

【Required skills】
Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Electronics and commmunication or related fields
6+ year of hands-on experience in Application software development for Automotive ECU's. Hands‑on experience in Model‑Based Development using MATLAB/Simulink
Experience developing or validating control, perception, or decision algorithms using models
Ability to work within a structured development process (V‑model or Agile) and collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams
Language Requirements:
Japanese/English both Advanced Business Level (Able to independently handle meetings, presentations, and discussions with clients and internal stakeholders)
