Export Control Laws:
Unless explicitly notified otherwise, our vacancies are covered by Export Control Laws which require candidates to be from an "Export Safe" Country as deemed by the Japanese Government.
The countries are as follows:
Japan, Germany, Australia, Argentina, Italy, USA, France, Netherlands, UK, Austria, Ireland, Czech, Spain, Greece Canada, New Zealand, Belgium, Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Denmark Hungary and Poland.
<key activities / role and responsibilities>
- Lead activities to create opportunities for contracts and collaboration with the Government of Japan and all other target customers, and to secure orders for contracts related to prospective customers and on‑orbit services.
- Formulate, develop, and plan communication strategies for cooperation with the Government of Japan, industry customers, and partners.
- Execute sales activities proactively, including engagement and coordination with business leads, customers, and partners.
- Communicate the business value proposition and prepare competitive proposals.
Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

<Mandatory>
- More than 5 years of experience in solution sales or business development in the space industry.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills, including communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Native‑level Japanese proficiency or Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 equivalent.
TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency (submission of score is not mandatory).

<Desirable>
- Experience in sales or business development related to GEO missions.
- Understanding of the ecosystems of JAXA and the Government of Japan (including the Ministry of Defense).
- Experience handling sensitive information requiring attention to information security, technical information management, and export control.
Basic knowledge of debris removal, EOL (End‑of‑Life), and on‑orbit services.

＜職務内容/役割・責任＞
- 日本政府およびその他すべてのターゲット顧客との契約および連携の機会の創出、（見込み）顧客および軌道上サービス等に係る契約の受注を獲得する活動をリードする。
- 日本政府、業界顧客、パートナーとの協力のためのコミュニケーション戦略の立案、開発、計画を行う。
- ビジネスリード、顧客、パートナーとのエンゲージメントや調整を含む営業活動を積極的に実行する。
- 事業のセールスポイントを伝え、競争力のある提案書を作成する。
その他、レポーティングマネージャーから指示された業務。

<必須条件>
- 5年以上の宇宙産業におけるソリューション営業または事業開発経験。
- 自立心があり、積極的で、自発的に行動できる方。
- 優れた対人能力、組織能力、および技術的・非技術的な聴衆を含む書面／口頭でのコミュニケーション能力。
- 日本語ネイティブ、または日本語能力試験N1相当の日本語力。
TOEIC700点以上または同等の英語力（スコア提出は必須ではない）。

<望ましい条件>
- GEOミッションに関する営業または事業開発の経験。
- JAXAおよび日本政府（防衛省含む）のエコシステムへの理解。
- 情報セキュリティ、技術情報管理、輸出管理等、機微情報の取り扱いや配慮が必要な業務経験。
- デブリ除去、EOL(End-of-Life)、軌道上サービスに関する基本的な知識。
