You will join our dynamic team as a Project Management Consultant, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects in an international and multicultural context. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the achievement of project objectives.
- Develop and manage overall project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish project governance frameworks and facilitate regular project meetings, steering committees, and status updates
- Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners
- Track project decisions, action items, deliverables, and escalation management through project completion and handover
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and communicated effectively to stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between Japanese and English-speaking teams by translating and interpreting project requirements, technical discussions, decisions, and project materials
- Support the conversion of business requirements into high-level technical and delivery requirements
- Coordinate alignment on solution design, technical architecture, integration approaches, and implementation strategies
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and ownership among various project teams and stakeholders
- Support Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) activities, including scope definition, planning, execution, and success measurement
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful delivery
- Build strong relationships with local and global stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and decision-making discussions
- Provide regular project reporting to management and key stakeholders
- Experience in project management (3-5 years) in IT, digital transformation, system implementation, or related projects
- Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Experience coordinating business and technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- English and Japanese fluent
- You demonstrate excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- You are able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
