As the Korea Exercise Analyst, you will support the design of U.S./Korea military exercises, including Command Post Exercise (CPX) and Staff Exercises (STAFFEX), through integration of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems, simulation systems, Master Scenario Event List (MSEL), exercise support, and exercise control to support unilateral, bilateral, joint, combined, and multinational training. Utilize functional area expertise gained through direct experience to assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components. Use in-depth analytical skills and military knowledge based on accumulated experience and education to improve organizational training efficiencies while optimizing fiscal resources. Provide guidance to exercise planners regarding the work and activities of others during workshops and working groups in a bilateral, joint, combined, and multinational environment. Attend planning conferences, workshops, and working groups to support exercise design, exercise support plans, identify personnel, equipment, C4I systems, simulation requirements, scenario development, and exercise control. Conduct analysis to support joint event life cycle (JELC) activities inclusive of site surveys, planning workshops and conferences, working groups, MSEL development with synchronization and execution, and exercise control execution in support of CPXs and STAFFEXs. Actively plan and support biannual United States and Korea CPXs. Organize, prepare, and support the execution of Senior Controller Team activities aligned to exercise control tasks during CPX execution. This position will require travel 25% of the time in support of the mission.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in exercise planning, including preparation and coordination with adjacent components and HHQ Commands
2+ years of experience exercise planning in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
Experience in planning and coordinating training in and around the Korean peninsula
Knowledge of military organization and culture of Joint US forces and partner allies in the region
Knowledge of a variety of DoW networks for information gathering and analysis, including NIPR, SIPR and CENTRIXS-K
Ability to apply information from applicable documents to advise in the design of an exercise construct that aligns with commander’s guidance and meets training and readiness objectives
Ability to advise leadership on means to achieve exercise planning objectives within a fiscally responsible exercise construct, clearly communicate, orally and in writing, complex data analysis topics to senior leaders and their respective staff, and work with senior level staff members at the Joint and Combined level
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
