As an Chanel Sales Manager based in Tokyo, you will play a key role in accelerating Vusion’s growth in Japan by driving business development through our strategic partner ecosystem and supporting retailers throughout their digital transformation journey.
You will work closely with partners, prospects, and customers to identify opportunities, develop business, and support the sales cycle from qualification through commercial discussions and contract signature.
Your key responsibilities
Partner Management & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Vusion’s strategic partners across the Japanese retail ecosystem.
- Drive business growth by activating partner networks and generating new sales opportunities.
- Build and execute joint business plans with partners to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.
- Enable partners to effectively position and promote Vusion’s solutions to retailers and prospects.
- Collaborate with partners on account planning, opportunity development, and customer engagement activities.
- Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration and increase business impact.
- Identify and evaluate additional partnership opportunities when strategically relevant to support business expansion.
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Work jointly with partners to identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities.
- Lead or support customer meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within retail organizations.
- Understand customer business challenges and translate them into tailored business solutions.
- Present Vusion’s value proposition and solutions in a compelling and consultative manner.
- Support the full sales cycle from opportunity creation through contract signature and handover.
- Coordinate with pre-sales, project delivery, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Proposal & Commercial Support
- Prepare solution recommendations, commercial proposals, and preliminary project estimations.
- Support pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with customers and partners.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting within CRM tools.
- Contribute to achieving revenue and growth targets for the Japanese market.
- Support business case development and ROI discussions with customers and prospects.
Customer & Partner Success
- Ensure high levels of customer and partner satisfaction.
- Build long-term trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as the voice of customers and partners internally to improve solutions and processes.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support the successful adoption and expansion of Vusion solutions.
