1. Available position
One Assistant Professor (Term of office is 5 years. Based on the performance examination during the term of
office, you may be appointed as an assistant professor without fixed terms, or hired as a senior assistant professor
or associate professor.)
2. Affiliation
The faculty hired in this open recruitment will belong to Department of Materials Science and Engineering in
the Faculty of Engineering.
3. Specialized field
Polymer Chemistry
4. Teaching responsibilities
Undergraduate level: You will be in charge of lectures, experiments, practical training and common education
subjects related to the applicant’s specialized fields from subjects offered in the Department of Materials Science
and Biotechnology.
5. Start date
As early as possible after November 1, 2026.
6. Qualifications
Applicants must satisfy all of the following requirements:
(1) Holding a doctorate or an equivalent degree by the time the appointment begins.
(2) Having educational and research achievements in the above specialized fields and subjects.
(3) Capable of doing research activities independently. Passionate about guiding students.
(4) Aware of current situations of local national university, and cooperative in university administration and
social contribution.
(5) If not a native speaker of Japanese, must have Japanese language ability to be engaged in office work.
