仕事内容:
YAMORI INC. is a local real estate and property management company based in Joetsu and Myoko, Niigata, Japan.
We are looking for a new team member to help manage properties, vacation rentals, and accommodation facilities throughout the Joetsu and Myoko area.
This is not a desk-only job. You will spend time both in the office and out in the field, visiting properties, checking facilities, communicating with owners and guests, and helping solve day-to-day issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and checking residential properties and accommodation facilities
- Supporting the operation of vacation rentals and guest accommodation
- Visiting properties throughout Joetsu and Myoko
- Conducting basic property and facility inspections
- Handling simple maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks where appropriate
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with local contractors
- Checking cleaning, supplies, equipment, and overall property condition
- Communicating with property owners and guests
- Communicating with international property owners
- Supporting guest needs and responding to on-site issues
- Snow shoveling and other winter-related property work during the snow season
- Other general property management and accommodation operations
Our work is very hands-on.
You may find yourself thinking:
“Let’s go check the property.”
“We can probably fix this ourselves.”
“Let’s contact a local contractor and get this sorted.”
We are looking for someone who enjoys thinking independently, taking initiative, communicating with people, and getting things done in the real world.
You will also have opportunities to work with traditional Japanese buildings and local revitalization projects, including the preservation and reuse of historic Gangi Machiya townhouses in Joetsu.
If you are interested in experiencing life in regional Japan while working in an international environment, we would love to hear from you.
